Microsoft Bing Webmaster Tools introduces four expanded AI performance capabilites in preview: Intents, Topics, Citation Share, and Compare, enhancing publishers’ understanding of AI-generated content visibility and citation dynamics. These tools build on existing AI Performance reporting to provide deeper insights into user intent, topics (thematic relevance), and citation share over time. The Intents feature categorizes queries into query intents like Informational or Commerce to clarify why content is cited. Topics cluster related queries into broader themes, helping identify content authority and gaps. Citation Share offers a relative measure of a publisher’s visibility compared to other sources for similar queries.
