As Ukraine’s Zelenskyy arrives, Canadian agency renews warning of cyberattacks.
With Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy visiting Canada on Friday, the country’s Communications Security Establishment (CSE) is renewing its warning to be extra vigilant for cyberattacks amid his time in the country.
The agency said it has seen cases of cyberattacks against NATO countries that support Ukraine, including when it hosted Ukrainian officials for visits.
As Sean Previl reports, the warning comes just weeks after multiple Canadian government websites suffered cyberattacks of their own and the CSE issued an assessment warning Russian-aligned hackers may seek to disrupt Canada’s oil and natural gas sector.
