Cyber hacks on Crown and Latitude are absolutely concerning.
Cyber Security Cooperative Research Centre CEO Rachael Folk says the cyber hacks on Crown Resorts and Latitude Financial are “absolutely concerning” as fears of people’s data being stolen are ever growing.
“This has always happened over the last ten years, I think what’s happened is the size and the amount of data stolen and the amount of people impacted,” she told Sky News Australia.
“That’s the problem with cyber harm, it’s really hard to quantify what kind of harm comes and harm can be years down the track hence that’s why I think we need to get serious about the consequences.”
