89-Year-Old Grandma Hands Over $14,000 in AI Phone Scam.

Grandma Shirley says her AI phone scam nightmare began when she heard her grandson’s voice on the phone saying he was in an accident and needed money.

She says another person, who identified as her grandson’s attorney, told her she needed to pay $9,000 for the charges against her grandson to be dropped.

After she paid, another call came in and that person demanded $5,000 dollars, which Shirley also paid. After calling her grandson, she realized she got scammed.
