International Scam Ring Busted.
The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) busts an international investment scam syndicate that raked in RM200 million from victims, in Australia, and the United Kingdom.
An international investment scam syndicate is an organized criminal enterprise that targets investors with fraudulent or deceptive investment schemes. These syndicates typically use aggressive tactics such as cold-calling, emails, and SMS messages to lure victims into investing in non-existent or fraudulent investment products.
Once money is invested, the syndicate will quickly disappear, leaving victims without their money. In some cases, victims may even be asked to pay additional fees or fees to access their funds.
It is important to be aware of the signs of an investment scam, and to do your research before investing in any product or service.
