Cleveland City Hall Closed Due to Cyber Incident.
Cleveland City Hall will be closed on Monday, June 10, 2024, due to a cyber incident. According to a city spokesperson, the full extent of the threat is currently under investigation, and the closure is a precautionary measure to ensure the safety and security of city systems.
While the city systems remain offline, essential services will continue to operate without interruption. This includes:
* Department of Public Safety: (911, Police, Fire, and EMS)
* Department of Port Control: (Cleveland Hopkins and Burke Lakefront Airports)
* Department of Public Utilities: (Water, Water Pollution Control, and Cleveland Public Power)
For any non-emergency issues, residents can reach out to the 311 service, which will be handled by after-hours operators.
All internal systems and software platforms will be shut down until further notice. In addition to City Hall, the Erieview building will also be closed on Monday, June 10. Essential staff will be present, but normal business will not be conducted with the public.
