Major data breach in Tasmania exposes 16,000 documents online.
Tasmania’s Science and Technology Minister has confirmed that at least 16,000 documents have been released online in a major data breach.
The attack was perpetrated in March against a third-party software system used by the department.
A helpline has been set up for concerned individuals, who are encouraged to report any unusual activity to authorities.
