Raleigh Housing Authority hit by cyber attack 6,000 residents impacted.
State and federal authorities are working with the Raleigh Housing Authority Thursday afternoon after a cyber attack.
The housing authority was the victim of a cyber attack overnight, shutting down their computer systems.
A federal cyber crimes team is on site investigating the attack. The system breach is impacting more than 6,000 residents, vendors and employees.
Features like online bill paying have moved to in-person after the attack. It’s unclear if there’s been a data breach.
