The A.I. Revolution

March of The Machines the A.I. Revolution

The A.I. revolution is changing the world. The documentary dives deep into the effects that artificial intelligence will have on jobs and our daily lives.

In the first part, there are interviews with Jeremy Kahn, Bloomberg Tech Reporter, Mike McDonough Global Chief Economist at Bloomberg Intelligence and Gideon Mann, Head of Data Science at Bloomberg.

The second part features Martin Ford, Author of Rising of the Robots.

And the third part explains how AI could soon be changing healthcare.

Since the rise of AI and Machine learning, things started to be different, as machines started to take decisions depending on the data that they have, and they started to learn from their mistakes. It’s predicted that machines will be more in control of their decisions in the future.

Google has bought in the last couple of years more than 13 A.I companies, and we know that Alphabet the parent company of Google and several former Google sub-companies gains around 70% of its profit from Google’s search engine, but it’s expected that in 2026, Google will become a company that depends mainly on AI projects from its Deepmind subsidiary.

DeepMind Technologies is a British artificial intelligence subsidiary of Alphabet Inc. and research laboratory founded in 2010. DeepMind was acquired by Google in 2014. The company is based in London, with research centres in Canada, France, and the United States. In 2015, it became a wholly owned subsidiary of Alphabet Inc, Google’s parent company.

General AI could be the biggest achievement that humankind has achieved since discovering fire and agriculture, but after the A.I. machine reaches the technological singularity with the invention of artificial superintelligence it could cause an upgradable A.I. intelligence that may start a process of self-improvement cycles, with each new and more A.I intelligence generation appearing more and more rapidly, causing an intelligence explosion and resulting in a powerful artificial superintelligence that would, far surpass all human intelligence.
